While the Parliament is debating today a motion of censure, protests are being held in several cities across the country.

For instance in Cluj Napoca 50 people have asked Prime Minister Victor Ponta to resign.

In Brăila, around 130 protesters have taken to the streets asking the head of the Government to resign.

Victor Ponta has passed today almost without emotion the motion test, the first such attempt since the presidential election last November.

The motion of censure submitted by the Liberal government against Ponta was rejected by Parliament with 194 votes "for", 13 "against" and 7 votes canceled.

To be adopted, the motion should have been voted by 278 MPs, half plus one of the number of MPs.

The information was presented Friday during the 100 minutes show, on Antena 3.
