Disclosures from the case file of Traian Basescu’s son in law, Radu Pricop, who is accused of complicity to extortion. Pricop was seen as the star by those involved in the case, due to his ancestral relationship with the former president. Radu Pricop was intercepted while teaching Sergiu Lucinshi how to disguise as legal the two million euro blackmail.
Radu Tudor commented on the statements during the show On today’s agenda.
"This conversation is something hallucinatory, the more so since the son in law of Traian Basescu was doing shady and illegal business with some mobsters, with some individuals close to the KGB. The Lucinshi family has never been out of the range of influence of anyone other than Moscow. It's very strange what happened in this regime of Basescu who claimed to be pro-American, " Radu Tudor said.
Radu Pricop, son in law of former President Traian Basescu and Sergiu Lucinschi, son of former President of the Republic of Moldova, were indicted in the case file about the blackmailing of Alexander Horpoş, from whom Lucinshi had allegedly asked four million euro to have a complaint filed on his neme withdrawn from DIICOT.
