The salaries of healthcare workers might increase by 73 per cent in two years. There will be three of four successive pay rises by the end of 2016, members of the Sanitas Trade Union Federation said when they walked out of the meeting with Health Minister Nicolae Bănicioiu.
The Healthcare Union representatives also demanded that doctors should be scraped off the list of civil servants. Negotiations on the new Healthcare Bill are to resume at the Labour Ministry.
