Romania does not have money for the vaccine against the bluetongue. Sanitary veterinary authorities recognize that although outbreaks are expanding rapidly, the treatment. Is way too expensive.  50 million would be needed to vaccinate all animals.

Bluetongue disease has already spread in 12 counties, and authorities expect the emergence of new outbreaks in the future. So far, the confirmed case  are only in family harms.

However, the virus affected the  big farmers too. The Arab countries do not want to buy live animals from us.
