Zsolt Torok and Justin Ionescu, two of the four Romanian mountaineers who were surprised in the Himalayas by the avalanche the earthquake triggered, arrived in Romania.
They recounted the horrific experiences they went through, but will not give up their dream of conquering the Everest. They want to start over again and return to continue the expedition.
The earthquake of April 25 caught the Romanian climbers Zsolt Torok and Justin Ionescu at 6,000 meters altitude, in camp 1 on Everest.
The 7.9 magnitude earthquake occurred in Nepal on April 25 and caused numerous avalanches. Over 7,000 people have died and more than 14,000 were injured.
