A professor from Cluj, former lecturer at the local University, was found dead in the house, five days after she called an ambulance. On the day she made the 112 distress call, paramedics knocked on her door and... left, because nobody would let them in.
Assuming they were dealing with a false alarm, they answered another call.
They even failed to notify the police, unaware that inside the apartment, a 42 year-old woman who desperately sought their help was drawing her last breath. The police have started an investigation and paramedics are being questioned.
