While the entire civilized world deplores the  French journalists assassination , someone from Brasov is threatening journalist Mihai Gâdea and general Pavel Abraham with death. Why? Because they broadcast the video tapes with Mircea Băsescu!

Wednesday night, on the Daily Summary, Mihai Gâdea spoke about those who have threatened him with death and the way these people are protected by the state institutions.

“I heva received many death threats over the past years. Some I have presented to you, some I have not presented but I did send them to the General Prosecution’s office under the form of criminal complaints”, Mihai Gâdea said adding that in Romania there is no respect for life nor for the dignity of the human being.

Pavel Abraham argues that he has been threatened  with death for having gotten involved in the case file accusing the brother of former president Traian Băsescu.

Invited on the "Daily Summary" show, the lawyer provided details about phone calls from unknown numbers which he has been receiving since the scandal broke out.

"It is  for the first time in my life when I’ve had a sense of fear and I'm not embarrassed to say this publicly. I witnessed a violent language which may be reproduced only by a very experienced man. A common man cannot find the words so harsh to say against  me and my family, " the lawyer said.

“He told me in the discussion we have had that he was from Brasov and he continued on the same tone. The next day I thought about filing a criminal complaint for threat”, Pavel Abraham added, noting that Mihai Gâdea too was threatened during those phone interventions.

General Pavel Abraham says that the one  who has made the  threats has been identified by the police because, by chance, his phone was monitored in a case pending trial.

"There is still a danger (...) Imagine my wife’s feeling of fear, my family’s. Our families are suffering around us and many people who  appreciate us do. Today is my first complaint that I have made. Unfortunately, the threat is treated as a relatively low social danger, " the lawyer said.
