The Romanian people has the lowest purchasing power in the European Union.

In other words, it is the poorest people, writes Dan Voiculescu in his blog.

Last year, Romania had a purchasing power index of 345 points.

Luxembourg was on the first place.

The lowest salary in Europe was registered by Bulgarians, 174 euros.
