About the title’s withdrawal, Vlad said that "it is a decision of the king, but that is assumed by Prince Nicolae".
"His Majesty has observed what was seen publicly and what Prince Nicolae did as prince in private together with the family and considered that this is the best decision," said the adviser to the Royal House of Romania.
Asked by the journalists, he also said he did not believe the King’s grandchild "is accused of anything in the past but is simply preparing for the future so that both parts, the dynasty, the nation should move forward with its symbols and him as a private person should head forward without being subject to restrictions, including in terms of modesty ".
