UPDATE 15.27- Rudel Obreja, former president of the Romanian Boxing Federation, will be arrested in the " Bute Gala " case for 30 days.
Obreja has said that they want him to make an accusation against former Minister Elena Udrea, alleging that his preventive arrest was requested because he will not say what investigators want to hear.

Rudel Obreja finds out today whether he will be taken into custody. The Bucharest Court are reviewing the request by the National Anticorruption Directorate related to Obreja’s involvement in the Gala Bute.
According to Obreja, DNA asked for his preventive arrest because he did not say what they expected to hear.
"They are expecting my denunciation of Mrs. Udrea , which I will not do because I have no grounds for it ", the Ex-president of the Romanian Boxing Federation said.
"For the people who are accused of corruption crimes, DNA asks for house arrest. For Obreja they ask to be taken into custody," he added.
"I do not say what investigators want to hear. (...) I would like to say one thing related to public money because in the end all this discussion has to do with public money. Romania spends every year millions of euros for such events and none of them had even by far the great impact that Gala Bute has had" , Rudel Obreja said.
"I asked for 4 million euros for services that I have provided with an exposure worth 30 million. The ministry people fought against me and they ended up paying me only one and a half million euros" said Obreja, wanting to show that there wasn’t any deal from which someone could take advantage.
In the case of Rudel Obreja, prosecutors proposed preventive arrest for 30 days, a decision in this regard will be taken by the High Court of Cassation and Justice.
