The investigation on Traian Băsescu’s estate is expanding. The mayor of the Nana commune, Gheorghe Dobre, and other 10 employees of the town hall and their relatives have become suspects, defendants.
They are charged with office abuse, forgery and conflict of interest.
The investigators have decided that six of them be investigated under judicial control.
The prosecutors have found several clues related the way these people, based on forged documents, have illegally entered into the possession of some land plots.
The facts were allegedly committed during 2005-2010. Then, the members of the land registry in Nana had forged the documents necessary for the restitution of hundreds of hectares of land.
Ioana Băsescu, daughter of president Traian Băsescu, contracted a bank loan on September 9, 2013, with the CEC Bank, worth 4,6 million lei, to buy a land of 290 hectares in Călăraşi county, loan granted with current and future account balances and the land purchased.
Adrian Rădulescu spoke to the administrator of the company who had leased the land in Nana before it was bought by Ioana Băsescu.
