The estate in Călăraşi has made Traian Băsescu richer with more than 56.000 euro.
The company that has leased the 300 hectares of land announced the former president that after harvest, they will give 1,150 kilograms of wheat per hectare.
The amount is higher than that received by Nana peasants who have leased their land plots to the same company. The reason being that Traian Basescu owns a larger area.
The former president receives by 10% more than the other villagers.
Traian Băsescu did not announce what will be done with the 345 tons of wheat. But as the leaseholder said, he will give money in exchange for wheat to Basescu because he has to pay the bank loan for the land in Nana.
