What Romanians believe about the scandal involving the President’s brother. Survey’s results

Romanians believe that Traian Basescu knew about all the  discussions between his brother and the  son of  Bercea Mondial. In a survey conducted by Avangarde, 40 percent of the Romanians surveyed believe that the president was aware of what was happening between Mircea Basescu and Sandu Anghel.

Sociologists say that this  scandal discredited dramatically Traian Basescu.

Lawmakers are expected to meet this week to decide how to proceed on this scandal. A few days ago, the USD leaders demanded the President’s  resignation . Prime Minister Victor Ponta hinted that a   possible suspension  of Basescu was taken into  account if  it was found  that he had been involved in the scandal.
