Nathan Dahm, senator of Oklahoma, granted an exclusive interview to Mihai Gâdea on the Daily Summary show.
Nathan Dahm speaks Romanian flawlessly. The senator said he learned Romanian reading the subtitles on Antena 1. "My parents are missionaries here. Our family moved to Romania in 1994, first in Timisoara and then in Bucharest. I lived here from 1994 until 2007, when I returned to Oklahoma, "said the senator.
Nathan Dahm explained how difficult it was for him to obtain the post of senator, while his opponent spent four times more money in the campaign.
The senator also added that he is in love with Romania and plans to visit the country at least once a year. "I want to come at least once a year."
Regarding Romanians, Sen. Nathan Dahm said they are "loving people who have very large hearts."
Things start to change in Romania, bit by bit, but it will still take some time, said Nathan Dahm.
