Those who commit crimes on the Internet can affect the entire world, because our entire activity is related to the online environment. The internet is where our children play, it is our banking transactions environment, the place where data is stored on our health, where there is national security information. (...) It is very important to reduce the distances between our forces to protect our country. Together with partners in Romania, we are working to bring to justice extremely dangerous cyber criminals, guilty of defrauding thousands of users worldwide, " the head of the FBI said.

He also said that this month, the FBI trains two Romanian officers in countering terrorist activities.

"Since 2013, the FBI offers training courses to local partners in crisis management. This month, the FBI is training two SRI officers in fighting terrorism. Officers from around the world, including Romania, gathered at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, to train.
