President Klaus Iohannis received Wednesday at the Cotroceni Palace, Natalia Gherman, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova.
“The road of the Republic of Moldova to Brussels goes through Bucharest”, the Moldovan official said during the meeting.
"The Moldovan minister thanked president Klaus Iohannis for the strong support given by Romania in this endeavor of Moldova. Our road to Brussels goes through Bucharest, "the minister said, adding that currently, Romania is the main trading partner of Moldova, reads a release of the Presidential Administration.
The Romanian President assured the Moldovan government of Romania’s cooperation and solidarity.
Klaus Iohannis welcomed today the start of the gas delivery from Romanian to Moldova through the Iasi-Ungheni pipeline as a sign of concrete and substantial support to Moldova.
