Over 2,000 soldiers from nine member countries were involved in one of the biggest NATO exercise called Noble Jump. Jump Noble is part of the large maneuvers that NATO organizes on its Eastern flank in order to provide security to Member States concerned by the hostile actions of Russia in Ukraine.
The exercise is known as the "spearhead".
Antena 3 was the only television outlet in Romania invited to this event.
The exercise was supervised by the NATO Secretary General and the Supreme Commander of NATO military forces.
The exercise, involving 440 vehicles and 17 aircrafts, was quite impressive. More than 2,000 soldiers have used a huge amount of ammunition - more than 100 containers.
The exercise scenario is classic - the enemy entered the territory of NATO. Attackers have improvised a military base and continued the attack. The first NATO troops are sent to block the advance of terrestrial opponents.
After 90 minutes of continuous fire, NATO troops succeed in defending their territory. The exercise was conducted closely monitored by NATO Secretary General and the Supreme Commander of NATO military forces.
The Romanian delegation attended the exercise in Poland as observer.
