The airplane that crashed in France two days ago had allegedly been intentionnaly crashed, investigators say.

From the information they have so far, it appears that the captain stepped out of the cockpit to go to the lavatory. The copilot locked himself in the cockpit and allegedly refused to open the door for the captain to enter.

Subsequently, the plane began to descend until it crashed into the mountains, while the co-pilot is heard breathing normally.

The German co-pilot named Andreas LUBITZ, was 28 years old and he was able to fly the plane alone, the prosecutor added. Andreas LUBITZ was hired in September 2013 with the airline.

Moreover, the prosecutor stressed the fact that there is no proof that the plane crash would have occurred because of a terrorist attack.

In the fall, the plane hit the mountain with a speed of 700 km per hour, so that everyone on board died instantly. Also, the prosecutor said, the passengers did not know that the aircraft will crash, but at the very last moment, when they began to hear the screams.
The Germanwings co-pilot who crashed the plane in France intentionally had no ties to terrorists, according to German officials, the Associated Press news agency reports.

A passenger plane with 150 people on board belonging to the low-cost Germanwings, crashed Tuesday in Southern France (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), Digne-Barcelonnette region, south of the city of Grenoble.
