Elif Memet, a young woman from Constanţa aged 20, currently studying at the Columbia University has been chosen by the Nobel Prize for economy winner Joseph Stiglitz, to coordinate his research on economic inequality, being the only freshmen student to achieve it, Mediafax reports.

The research topic she has chosen has not been decided yet, Elif oscillates between "The relationship between economic inequality and the American health system" and "The relationship between climate change and economic inequality."

Elif Memet speaks six languages, she was the youngest delegate at Harvard World MUN - Brussels in 2014, she attended the Doha Gathering of All Leaders in Sport Forum 2013 and last year she was invited to the White House after winning an international competition of essays.
