Three Romanian citizens were arrested in the US state of Missouri charged with shoplifting attempts, according to US authorities cited by KCRA.com news site.
Two women and a man - Romanian citizens - were arrested in Jefferson City on charges that they tried to steal baby products from two commercial centers.
Jefferson City police said that Florentina I. (aged 25), Elena N. (38) and Florin D. (35) were arrested on charges of attempted theft. The three suspects are Romanian citizens and live in Anaheim California County.
According to the newspaper News Tribune, the three Romanians tried to steal 66 bottles of baby products from a Walmart shopping center in Jefferson City last week. In another case, the same suspects tried to steal similar items worth $ 1,000 from a Walmart in Moberly center, also in Missouri.
The three Romanians are detained in a penitentiary in the Randolph shire (North Carolina)
