Thousands of people attended the march in Chisinau for the unification of Moldova with Romania. The demonstration, organized by unionist associations, started in the center and covered, on its route, the embassies of Russia, Germany, United States and Romania.

The march was peaceful and without incidents and it was held on the 203 years anniversary since the annexation of Bessarabia by the Tsarist Empire.

The crowd of demonstrators gathered in the central square of Chisinau. The demonstrators, mostly young people, held up a huge tricolor flag and banners bearing pro union messages.

"I came in the Great Union National Square, for this, for the union, I came for a better life for the citizens of Moldova," Constantin Codreanu said, the organizer of the march.

"If we want a better future, the union is the only chance! And we see it every day, because we have tried many solutions and none had the success that every citizen aims for, a better life "said a young woman present at the march.
After a series of speeches by union associations leaders , demonstrators marched on the streets of Chisinau. The first destination was the Russian embassy.
The protesters continued their march to the German, American and Romanian embassies.

Protesters condemned the Moldovan authorities for having expelled the other day, George Simion, Romanian citizen and leader of the union association, who was also one of the organizers of the demonstration.
According to organizers, 25,000 people attended the march, while the Chisinau police department estimated 5000 demonstrators
