According to unofficial sources, up to 10.000 state employees will be fired by the end of this year or the beggining of the next.
Employees for ANAF and Palatul Parlamentului are the first to be targeted for the staff reduction. Ministers are also being asked to reduce the staff by 5%.
About 5,000 employees will be fired from ANAF out of the toatal of 30,000 people working there and 350 employees will leave from Palatul Parlamentului.
The Ministry of Finance is hoping to save about one billion lei only by a reduction in state personnel.
