Ionel Petre, leader of ALDE Dambovita, announced that on Monday the law against 'being lazy' was implemented.
The law states that the refusal of a work opportunity for an unemployed person without justification will lead to the removal of walfare.

'Starting today the law against being lazy was implemented. At the proposal of the Liberal Democratic Alliance, the law number 192/2018 for the modification of law 416/2001 regarding the minimum requirnments was implemented today, October 22.

According to the data given by the Minister of Work and Social Justice in Romania there are around 25.000 people that benefit from walfare for over 10 years, fact that shows that they do not wish for a stable place of employment.' declared ALDE president Ionel Petre in a press release.

He added that we do not need to give money to people to refuse to work, unjustified.
