Almost half of Romanian teachers believe in dictatorship, racism, homophobia and the death penalty. The study was conducted at the University Babes-Bolayi from Cluj, Romania.

The study involved 1.400 teachers from over 140 schools and high schools.

The worrying data shows that more than a third of those who participated believe that education can be achived through violence and that sometimes parents are right to beat their children, this being seen as a form of education.

One out of three teachers do not wish to have any contact with people of rom heritage or members of the LGBT+ community.
