Vicepresident of the Democrat Liberal Party (DLP), Theodor Paleologu, thinks that impeached president Traian Basescu no longer enjoys the popularity he once had.
Paleologu stated that Traian Basescu had lost the sympathy of the citizens not only because of the austerity measures, but also because of the behaviour he had displayed over time.
„Traian Basescu is unpopular, he has lost a lot of his popularity and not only because of the austerity measures, but also because of some statements that he had made and because of some imprudences, because of the trust he had shown to some people, no doubt, he is truly unpopular at this moment and for some time now“, the DLP vicepresident stated.
