The Constitutional Court meeting on the referendum outcome has been postponed until Thursday because the Court needs additional information from the competent institutions,  Mediafax reports.

The documents with the final results of the referendum on the president's dismissal on July 29 arrived from the Central Electoral Bureau to the Constitutional Court on Wednesday.

Participation at the referendum was of 46.24%, with 87.52% of the participants voted for the Basescu's dismissal and 11.15% against, according to final results of the July, 29th referendum, the Electoral Central Bureau (ECB) announced Wednesday.

Out of the total 18,292,464 voters included on the permanent lists 8,459,053 have participated at the referendum, representing 46.24%.

Of these, 7,403,836 (87.52%) people voted "Yes", 943,375 (11.15%) voted "No", and 111,842 (1.32%) votes were invalid.

The Constitutional Court is the institution that will decide whether to validate or invalidate the results of the referendum to dismiss the Romanian President.

Validation or invalidation of the referendum depends on the votes of six Constitutional Court judges, since the CC plenum can decide by a majority of two thirds on the validity of the result of the direct consultation of the citizens.
