The employees of ministries will not receive a Christmas bonus this year either , Prime Minister Victor Ponta announced . Last year the civil servants working in the Victoria Palace received a greeting card with the Government’s heading on it.
There are still more fortunate state employees. Several employees of state-owned national companies will get extra money at the end of the year.
For example, the over 6,000 employees of the Company of Motorways and Roads will each receive gift vouchers worth 250 Romanian lei and the 8,800 employees from Oltenia Energy Complex, 600 Romanian lei each.
And those from Conpet have budgeted 2.7 million Romanian lei for Christmas tickets worth 700 lei per each employee.
