Romanians are getting even poorer, as their wages are ever lower compared with those of workers from other European states. The Foundation for Citizen Defence Against State Abuse warns that Romania needs urgent measures to combat poverty for the economy to recover and Romanians not to leaver their country anymore. On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, facias launched the Prosperity Pact meant to raise the incumbents' awareness that the strugglr against poverty must become a national priority.
