Also, the Hungarian news portal "delmagyar" published Tuesday, photos showing markings on the border with Romania that outline the future fence line.
The specification by the Hungarian Ministry of Defense comes after Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday that whatever the plans migrants may have to use new routes in Europe, "he is absolutely certain that it will go through Hungary," because the authorities in Budapest will also close the border with Romania if necessary, as they closed the borders with Serbia and Croatia, where they also raised the barbed wire fences.
This decision of Hungary determined a deviation of the migratory flow towards Croatia and Slovenia. But the latter decided last week to allow entry into its territory only to migrants who express their desire to seek asylum in Germany or Austria, and enhanced border controls. The decision follows a similar initiative taken by the authorities in Berlin and Vienna after the Scandinavian countries began to restrict reception of migrants. Therefore, migrants may try to cross from Serbia into Romania to continue their trip to Western Europe through Hungary and Austria.
