Weather Forecast for the Weekend

 

A wave of cold, polar air will hit Romania at the end of this week. After the temperatures will reach 20 degrees Celsius, the weather will dramatically change.

FRIDAY

For the most part of the country, the weather will remain warm. The sky will be temporarily cloudy, and there will rain on extended areas on the west regions and the mountain areas, and only isolated in other regions. The wind will get stronger at mountain areas, where the speed will exceed 70-80 km/h, and only intensify for a short time in the west, central, and east regions. The maximum temperatures will stay between 8 and 18 degrees celsius.

SATURDAY

The north east of the country will face a speed decrease in temperatures, while the rest of the regions will remain warm for this time of year. The maximum temperatures in north of Moldova will stay between 2 and 4 degrees and around 22 degrees in south Dobrogea and Muntenia. On the lower side, the temperatures will generally stay between -6 and 8 degrees Celsius. In these areas, especially at night, the water levels will exceed 20-25 liters/mp and in isolated areas, get to 35 liters/mp

SUNDAY

The weather will severely cool down, and the maximum temperatures will be set between -4 and 11 degrees, with the lowest values in the northern side of Moldova, and the minimum values set between -8 and 0 degrees Celsius. The sky will mostly be cloudy, and there will be precipitations in the eastern territory, and on isolated areas in the rest of the country. In Moldova there will snow, Muntenia and Dobrogea will have mixed precipitations, and the rest of the regions will face rain.
