Over 35,000 cars belonging to Romanian citizens could be seized by the Bulgarian authorities when they entered the country, Jurnalul.ro informs.
The decision of our neighbors to the South of the Danube comes after many Bulgarians registered to their names dozens, maybe even hundreds of cars.
Because registration fees are lower than in Romania, Bulgarians get for each car registered to their names between 25 and 50 Euros.
The Bulgarian authorities decided to confiscate them, because people who have several cars cannot justify the price paid for their purchase. .
That’s how a young man from Ruse ended up having 700 cars registered to his name.
