Chevrolet has recently announced that the Malibu was launched in Romania where the base entry-level version can be bought from 25,300 euros, VAT included.
According to the North American based automaker, the Chevrolet Malibu LT, which is the entry-level model, can now be bought in Romania starting at 25,300 euros, VAT included. Chevrolet is offering the Malibu in two other trim levels, the LTZ and the LTZ Auto, with the latter being the most expensive version. The Chevy Malibu LTZ Auto is available from 30,000 euros, VAT included.
Chevrolet says that the Malibu is being offered only with the 2.0 liter diesel engine, which is producing a total output of 160 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 350 Nm available at 1,790 rpm. Future owners of the sedan will be able to choose between the six-speed manual and the six-speed transmission. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds and it’s burning an average of 5.1 liters of fuel every 100 km.
The automatic version of the Chevrolet Malibu can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in the same 9.7 seconds but the average fuel consumption increases to 6.0 liters / 100 km. The Chevrolet Malibu diesel will be launched at the 2012 Paris Motor Show on Thursday.
