New car registrations within the EU made in January and February were down by 9.5% compared to the same period last year, that is 1.68 million units, according to data presented in a press release issued Tuesday by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) .
Of the major car brands, only 8 have registered growth in the first two months of the year in the EU. Dacia’s increased percentage was exceeded only by Honda (15.1%) and Jaguar (22.1%), but showing smaller volumes of 18,000 and 3,200 units respectively, Mediafax reports.
In February, Dacia car registrations in the EU increased by 15.9% to around 20,000 units.
