Romanians love to draw attention to their cars. The number of convertibles sold in 2013 tripled compared to last year

Romanians like luxury and cars come first when it comes to showing off. How can they best display it this season if not by acquiring a convertible worth a few tens of thousands Euros? The sensation is unique and the one driving it attracts all eyes. The number of convertible cars sold this year tripled from last year.

The number of convertible cars sold increased from one year to another. If in the first months of 2012, they sold only 15 convertibles, this year, the number tripled. The number grew also compared to 2011, when 85 cars were sold in one year alone.

Therefore, by the end, dealers hope to sell over 200 cars. They are optimistic if we think that the price of such a vehicle ranges from 15 thousand to 100 thousand Euros.

For instance, a Fiat Cabrio costs about 17,000 Euros, while for a Mazda full options one can up to the 30 thousand Euros.

The price doubles when it comes to Lexus, Porsche and BMW. There are also cars that cost over 100,000 Euros, brands such as Aston Martin, Ferrari or Lamborghini.
