The largest Chinese manufacturer in the windmill enterprise and number two in the world, the Sinovel group wants to partner with Faur plant owned by the Emil and Marius Cristescu brothers and begin production of wind turbines in Bucharest, Mediafax reports.
"Recently, a task group of the International Affairs Department of the Chinese company Sinovel visited the Bucharest plant Faur. On this occasion, the company’s management talked about energy projects development in partnership with the Bucharest company", a statement Chamber of Commerce announced.
According to the Director General of Faur, Mariana Hristea, the Chinese company planned to open a factory. After visiting Faur, the Chinese have decided to produce them here.
"They want to produce in our factory, because they found we had the necessary capacity. If we sign a contract with them we will be able to make considerable investments and we will buy new production lines " , Hristea stated.
The director of the Faur plant stated that negotiations were ongoing, and the contract with the Chinese company could be signed over the next few months.
„We will produce in partnership wind turbines. They will bring the know-how and we will put in our production capacities”.
The Sinovel Group operates in Romania two average capacity projects and they intend to continue their development by building wind farms.
