It is likely that minors in Romania no longer be able to buy soft drinks. PDL MP Alin Popoviciu, will submit in Parliament a legislative initiative in this regard.
The politician wants the sodas to have the same status as cigarettes and his proposal is likely to succeed, the initiative has been supported by doctors confirmations, who warn parents of minors about the harmful effects of these drinks.
If the request is accepted, Romania is the first country in the EU to set up such a ban.
