The news station was leader of the audience on all targets, establishing itself as the most watched television in Romania throughout the final game in Roland Garros.
Thus, at the level of urban public of over 18 years, Antena 3 has achieved an average rating of 12.2% and 33.7% market share, followed in the ranking by Eurosport and Antena 1.
Hierarchy remains unchanged on the commercial target where Antena 3 has registered an average of 7.7 rating points and 27.5% market share, but also nationally, where the average market share was 27.9%.
The peak audience was recorded in minute 19:15 when Antena 3 has reached 15.7% rating and 38.6% market share, 1.379 million viewers applauding the performance of Simona Halep.
Moreover, during the entire broadcasting from Paris, commented live by Cristian Țopescu and former tennis player Dumitru Hărădău, no less than 2.285 million Romanians watched at least one minute on Antena 3.
Antena 3 broadcast live on Saturday, in partnership with Eurosport, the Paris's grand slam final. Throughout the day, Antena 3 aired stories about Simona Halep and the French Open final accompanied by the most beautiful messages of support sent by Antena 3 viewers to encourage the tennis player. Adrian Ursu and Catalina Porumbel hosted a special edition dedicated to the final in Paris and Ivona Roșu reported live from Roland Garros, on Simona’s program and the atmosphere of the final match.
Simona Halep, number 3 WTA as of Monday, was defeated in three sets by Maria Sharapova in a tight match in which Simona was encouraged and admired by millions of fans and tennis professionals from around the world .
