Romania’s Antenna 1 became the top channel by format hours screened in 2013, increasing by 507 hours to a total of 1,939 (5.3 hours/day). Denmark’s Kanal 5 dropped to second place. Channel 4 in the U.K., Spain's Antena 3 and Vox in Germany round out the top 5.

According to the report, Antenna 1 in Romania ranks first among European television broadcasting formats duration analyzed, with 1,939 hours in 2013, by 507 hours more compared to the situation in 2012.
Next on the list are television channels Kanal 5 (Denmark), Channel 4 (UK), Antenna 3 (Spain) and Vox (Germany).
According to the director of the audit company Madigan Cluff, Michael Cluff, the top 100 European formats, from 84 stations, totaled 2.93 billion dollars in 2013.
"In Europe, the market of advertising revenue declined, which explains why the 2013 collections from TV formats are also lower by 3.3% compared to 2012. Despite this decline, 2013 revenues however, are higher than those of 2011, "said Michael Cluff, co-author of the report.
UK ranks first among European countries on revenue from TV formats, its total revenue reached $ 600 million in 2013, compared to 677 million dollars in 2012.
Next on the list is France, with 599 million dollars in 2013, while Russia has cashed in 144 million dollars.
