The Romanians from abroad sent home more money in 2012. The amount increased last year for the first time in four years, reaching up to 4 billion Euros.
The value has increased only by 3% compared to the level registered in 2011.
Compared to 2007-2008, Romanians who work abroad sent less money than before the economic recess started by more than 40%.
