The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is doing business on the Bucharest stock exchange! The Foundation has invested some 53 million lei into Property Fund shares, according to the latest stock index. The foundation now owns 66 million Property Fund shares, the most liquid ones on the Romanian stock market. The Gates Foundation is the largest charitable organisation in the world with 43 billion dollars worth of assets.
