The first budget revision this year is based on a GDP higher by 2.6 billion, up from 626.2 billion lei.
According to Mediafax, negotiations for a new agreement of Romania with International Monetary Fund (IMF) had as macroeconomic grounds an estimated GDP growth of 1.9% this year, slightly above the forecast proposed by the international institutions representatives of 1.8 %.
Earlier, the IMF and Romanian authorities had estimated an increase of 1.6% this year and 2% next year.
