The amount of the European funds attracted by Romania in seven and a half years is half compared to the amount our country has contributed with to the EU budget.
Since 2007 until now, only 4,8 billion Euros have been used, while our contribution amounted to nearly 9 billion Euros.
The amounts attracted by Romania represent only 25% of the amounts allotted by the Union, that is 19,21 billion.
It is important to specify that at the end of 20111,the absorption rate reached only 5,5%.
