The Agreement between Romania and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is "stationary" and the IMF technical mission left with a positive assessment from Bucharest, said Monday the governor of the National Bank of Romania, Mugur Isarescu,  Agerpres informs.

"The agreement with the IMF is stationary. The fiscal situation assessment mission to Romania, as far as I know, left with a positive assessment" Isarescu explained, referring to the technical mission of the international financial institutions whose role was to assess the  situation of  Romania's budget.

A team of experts from the International Monetary Fund / IMF / came to Bucharest at the end of July to discuss with the Ministry of Finance / MPF / about the first state budget amendment for  2014.

The Government approved on July 31 a draft ordinance on the amendment of the state budget and the state social insurance budget  for 2014.

Prime Minister Victor Ponta has  said Thursday that the first budget revision of 2014 is  a positive one  and that the Ministry of Environment, which stood to lose 25 million, will receive  50 million  lei for commissioned works targeting  landscaping and protection against the floods.

The Head of the Executive has stated that the  counties under the  Red Code  for floods- Gorj, Valcea, Arges, Olt, Teleorman  and Prahova  - should get  50 million lei, the  Ministry of Health receives 500 million lei and the  Health Insurance House - 165 million lei, The Ministry of Education -  gets 150 million lei for payment  of enforceable titles and 20 million for kindergartens and two universities, the Ministry of Transports -  gets 350 million, mainly for the CFR, the  Ministry of Economy - 300 million for de minimis aid and refurbishment, the Ministry of Justice - 43 million for staff costs, administration and refurbishment  of courts and prosecutors' offices, the Ministry of Culture and Cults get  10 million and 600 million are  given for  local authorities arrears and the Ministry of Administration and Interior receives  200 million for the Permanent Electoral Authority - money for elections and 136 million for the  retrofitting  of intervention vans and cars.
