At the forthcoming budget adjustment, the Government will allocate the money the Ministry of Health needs in order to pay the Court-awarded compensation for the tragedy that took place at Giuleşti Maternity Hospital in 2010.
Prime Minister Victor Ponta made this promise after several assets of the culpable Ministry were frozen by Court order for having failed to pay 4 million euros to the victims.
In another development, Ponta said the Liberals are to blame for the lack of money for irrigations and made it clear he would issue an Emergency Ordinance if the Ministry of Agriculture does not reach an agreement with the National Liberal Party.
