Romania registered some progress last year in the field of economic freedom, but  still dropped three places in the world ranking  of this indicator, published by Wall Street Journal. 

Our country has improved its score, but fell from  59th to 62nd. Romania is, however, ahead of Portugal, France and Italy.

The  survey’s authors state that Romania is among the countries that have made ​​most progress in the 20 years since this classification is made.

This year, the United States dropped to  12th place and, for the first time, they are no longer among the top 10 countries with the freest economies.
