Romania ranked first in the EU on the increase of industrial production prices

In June,  Greece, Sweden and Romania situated on  the first  positions in the European Union  related to the industrial producer prices increase, compared to the same period of 2013, while the indicator fell by 0.8% in the euro area, European Union data published Monday by the European statistics office,  Agerpres reports.

The largest price increases in industrial production were recorded in Greece (1.6%), Sweden (0.7%) and Romania (0.6%) and the most significant decreases were registered in Estonia (minus 6 6%), Lithuania (minus 4.7%) and Belgium (minus 4.5%).

Industrial producer prices increased in June by 0.1% in the EU and the euro area, compared to the previous month.

The largest price increases in industrial production were recorded in Spain (0.9%), Latvia (0.6%), Greece and Hungary (both 0.4%) and the most significant decreases were recorded in Lithuania (minus 0.9%), Estonia (minus 0.8%), Denmark (minus 0.4%) and Romania (minus 0.3%).
