According to the latest fuel prices bulletin, issued by the European Commission, Romania has one of the lowest prices in fuels across the EU. 


The average price in Romania of a liter of 95 petrol was on 8 April, 1.30 Euros, according to the latest data of the Oil Bulletin, the fuel market monitoring service of the European Commission.

With this price, Romania is the country with the lowest price in the community, surpassing including Bulgaria, where the average price was 1.34 Euros per liter.


In the case of diesel, the average price in Romania was of 1.33 Euros in at the same time. But our country occupies the third position in the EU, the cheapest diesel can be bought in Luxembourg (1.24 Euros / liter) and Latvia (1.329 euro / liter).
