The European Commission remitted  Romanian 141,5 million Euros  for POSDRU

The European Commission remitted to  Romania, Tuesday, 141.5 million Euros for the  Sectoral Operational Program Human Resources Development (HRD), the first installment from Brussels after  the program was unblocked earlier this month, the Ministry of European Funds informed.

" The resumption of payments by the European Commission provides us  with the necessary resources for the payment of bills to the  beneficiaries, so that the program’s  development  resume its course” , the European Funds Minister Eugen Teodorovici stated, according to a press release sent to Mediafax.
  
He added that the priority for  the upcoming period was  to unlock the three programs still suspended, ie ROP, SOP Transport and SOP Increase of Economic Competitiveness.

The European Commission suspended  the HRD SOP  in August 2012 as a result of the  deficiencies identified by the European Community in the use of  funds used 2009-2011, the Ministry of European Funds stated.
