The Romanian LEU is the only European currency to register an increase compared to the Euro, a major brokerage house states.
At the end of the first ten months, our currency has increased by 0.3% against the euro. A significant percentage for brokers, who believe that the Romanian currency remains the best performing currency in the European Union against the euro.
The study reveals that the leu resisted very well against the declines occurring on the external financial markets, which caused other currency to decline such as the Hungarian forint, the Polish zloty and the Czech koruna.
Even stronger currencies have registered significant declines such as the Pound and the Swedish crown.
