The prime minister added that Europe's attention turned towards the South-East and this favors us.
"Europe's attention turned back to the region because of incidents in Ukraine. Secondly, the fact that other countries in the region had a less clear direction or stable than Romania, with some excesses, as is the case of Hungary, or that Romania has had in recent years growth and social stability and the fact that there is a predictability and stability perspective, you see these are the items everyone in the region looks for. "
As for the investments in Romania, a disadvantaged chapter, the Premier explained that he can count on an increase thereof in 2015.
"Reducing the budget deficit obviously affected the public investment. The crisis in Ukraine affects the confidence of foreign investors in the region, but even in these conditions Romanian economy has become more competitive, especially in the private sector. I am convinced that the measures we took will provide growth potential. Nobody is making deposits for , it will depend on political stability and the ability to implement these policies on a slightly longer term.
